Frenchay10k established in 1980
The Frenchay10k, one of the oldest 10k races in the UK, and is a highly anticipated annual event in the local community. As a not-for-profit race, every penny of profit is donated to deserving local charities, ensuring that the event has a lasting positive impact beyond just the runners. With a rich history and a deep connection to the area, it has become a beloved tradition, drawing in a dedicated group of participants and supporters each year.
Thanks to the generous support of Star Legal-Fishponds, who have been the race’s long-time sponsor, the Frenchay10k is able to continue its tradition. Their sponsorship makes possible the iconic commemorative mug, a cherished keepsake for each runner. With 600 participants each year, the event brings together seasoned athletes and first-time runners alike, all united in their support for local causes. The Frenchay10k is not just a race; it’s a celebration of community spirit and charity.
